At Georgia Tech, I am a researcher in the Wellness Technology Lab led by Dr. Andrea Parker, where I study how technology can support the wellbeing of Black and marginalized communities. My work spans the design of health interventions in faith contexts, the role of mutual aid and collective action in community support, and the connection between online behavior and mental health—particularly among perinatal Black women.

Broadly, I’m interested in how people use current and emerging technologies to meet their health needs, and how we might design these tools to more effectively support tangible care. I’m especially drawn to research that explores how socio-technical systems shape how people seek and receive social support for improved wellbeing outcomes.
